Summary/Abstract: In his work, the author assessed the impact of the perceived prices applied in an organisation on the choice thereof and the impact of the price of the delivered product on its quality measured with the level of customers’ satisfaction. In the article, there are presented findings of the research carried out by the method of auditorium survey among clients of an authorised car service. The carried out surveys show that 10% of all clients using services of a given organisation are guided when choosing it with competitive prices. It appears that almost 90% of clients choosing the organisation because of competitive prices are the clients completely or moderately satisfied with the level of quality of the received service, i.e., in other words, confirming reception of the product in compliance with their requirements. The carried out surveys show that under the changing conditions of organisation’s functioning price is an important source of the product’s quality. A bigger number of clients satisfied with the prices applied in the organisation means a higher quality of the product received. The carried out considerations show that the price as a component of the proof of delivery of the product compliant with the requirements should be up to date adjusted to the changing clients’ requirements and expectations.
