Summary/Abstract: Karapapakhs are a Turkic group living mostly in the east of Georgia, but also Southern Azerbaijan and some parts of Turkey. This article examines popular beliefs obeyed in daily life among them, stemming mostly from pre-Islamic Turkic cults, but also with a heavy Islamic influence.
