Summary/Abstract: Turkic peoples are spread and live in a wide area, some-times with no interaction with each other. They have developed some cultural peculiarities, but preserved their position within the Turkic cultural milieu, of which roots are in the very deepness of history. This survey, based on local observations among the Crimean and Kazan Tatars, displays that these Turks share many common with the Anatolian Turks.
