Summary/Abstract: After the demise of the Russian Tsardom, there became a political vacoom in the South Caucasus, and Armenian gangs committed a horrible genocide in March 18, 1918, in Baku, where 30,000 Muslims were cruelly killed. Azerbaijan literatüre in the Republican period (1918-1920) intensively dealt with this tragedy, while Bolsheviks were trying to have it forgotten. Thus, it is not mentioned in the Soviet period.
