The Motive of Suggession in Lullabies of Eastern Black Sea Region

Summary/Abstract: Lullabies also contain some secondary ideas and suggestions, as well as their primary goals, as other folklore products. Lullabies of the Eastern Black Sea region of Turkey, which tell babies what to do when they grow up, are of special importance in this sense. Rize county lullabies are interesting in stressing the motive of "being an important man"; on the other hand, common elements like caring parents in their old days, and becoming a good citizen are also current.
