The very notion “young adults” in the literature most often refers to people fully adult in the biological sense but, at the same time, still not self-reliant and fully or partly dependent on parents/legal guardians. From the socioeconomic point of view, the traits that may characterise those individuals are: non-performance of professional job, lack of the ability to ensure independent living to oneself and one’s family as well as lack of maturity to take tasks exceeding personal traits. The subject matter of considerations in the article was behaviours of this social group in the market for financial services in Poland. The source bases of the article were the subject literature and author’s direct surveys carried out for the purpose of the article by the FGI method.
