Summary/Abstract: The article, based on the homilies of Blessed John Paul II delivered to his compatriots during the pilgrimage to his Homeland in 1991, analyzes the question of the community of the Christian faith, the community of the nation, and, finally, the marriage and family. The analysis is performed in the context of human freedom, which reflects human likeness to God. The man is given the freedom to love, because his Creator is the Triune God. The hidden context of the discussion is the Trinitarian dimension of the Christian theology. The Pope’s message is still relevant for Poland, Europe and the entire world.
