Summary/Abstract: In the Country Development Strategy of the Ministry of Regional Development, there is presented the opinion that development of the idea of lifelong learning belongs to the essential tasks of the education sector and one of the key challenges for the academic circles is openness of universities to continuous education. Due to this, universities simply faced the duty to indicate solutions in this area. The priority IV innovative projects respond to the need to improve the offer of long-life education at Polish universities in the social (interest in lifelong learning) and practical context (adjustment of adults’ qualifications to employers’ expectations). An aim of the article is to indicate recommendations, as regards continuous education financing and organising, emerged in the course of focus group interviews with an innovative project at a university. Those recommendations are to serve finding and developing new solutions for lifelong education , dedicated to clients (students, learners, graduates and to all concerned).
