A Swot Analysis of Cloud Computing in Enterprises

Summary/Abstract: Over the past few years, emergence of cloud computing has notably made anevolution in the IT industry. Cloud computing has enabled possibility to view IT as aservice. Cloud computing is of growing interest to companies, but there are many barriersassociated with its adoption. This paper aims to discusses the drivers and inhibitorsof cloud computing adoption. In addition, an attempt has been made to identify the keystakeholders of cloud computing and outline the current security challenges. Also aSWOT analysis of cloud computing in enterprises has been made.
