Summary/Abstract: In this study, knowledge management which is explained as four dimensions; creation, share, usage, and storage of knowledge in survey model, the competency and the level of national education administrators in knowledge management, in the province, had been studied. The proficiency level of education administrators had been determined according to their own perception by applying Knowledge Management Competency Scale which had been designed by the researcher to determine their competency level. The same scale had been applied to primary school inspectors and school managers and their evaluation of the national education administrators had been asked. Statistical analyses had been done over scale forms accepted valid and applied to 30 national education administrators, 261 school manager and 46 primary school inspectors in the province of Malatya. In the analyses, descriptive statistics and the test of t, test of F and Shefeé test techniques had been used. In the study, the following results are obtained: National education administrators perceive themselves “competent in high level” in the creation and storage of knowledge, “in highest level” in the share of knowledge, but “in medium level” in the dimension of use of knowledge. School Managers had evaluated national education administrators as “in medium level” in all dimensions. While primary school inspectors had been evaluating national education administrators “competent in medium level” in the creation and share of knowledge, they evaluated them “competent in low level” in the use and storage of knowledge.
