Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to evaluate the development potential created at theregional level and innovation activities of enterprises. Using the data from the Local DataBank, the authors employ taxonomic measure of development, correlation coefficients andlinear regression to analyse innovation at regional level. The findings suggest that there isa relationship between development potential and innovation activities of enterprises.
