Summary/Abstract: An aim of considerations is to present the problem of consequences of digitisation and their convergence in the face of lack of transnational, Union’s legislative solutions of this phenomenon. If the media concentration (especially related to the press, radio and TV) is regulated within the framework of EU countries, then the facilitated by the convergence transborder transfer of concentration and competition (primarily on the Internet) is economically effective but socially harmful and does not face constraints at the EU level. In his article, the author used methods of the logic analysis, the method of direct observation (the author participated in the management processes in managerial posts in three media corporations) as well as indirect observation (the documentary method), the method of analogies, comparative and causal analysis. The article is of the conceptual nature.
