Summary/Abstract: The catastrophic and ecological risks are a serious challenge to the insurance market. In order to respond to this challenge it is necessary to properly identify such risks. The process of risk management begins from the risk identification, which means the identification of all kinds of risk accompanying business activities. The most complete showing of all elements of conscious ecological risks will constitute the base both for appropriate preventive measures and proper forms of risk funding usage.
