Summary/Abstract: This study focuses on English and German travelers who visited the region where Chechen and Ingush communities lived in Caucasus which can be defined as the region of struggle as the gate way of Tsarist Russia to Turkistan and India in 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Having traveled to the region in different dates, these travelers give us information about Chechen and Ingush religion, clothing, accessory, weapon, dance, law, tombstones, socio-economic life, population, month-day nomenclature, management, architecture and their characteristic features.
