Summary/Abstract: This contribution attempts to communicate some experience of the authoress's own research. She uses the oral history method in research Czech Marxist historiography. The authoress focuses on the interesting historians biographies, collects and extracts a history memories. Then she compares it with traditional sources and with texts of these scientists and provides biographies Czech post-war historians. This text points out the specifics and problems such type of research, based mainly on the oral methodology. Experiences are generalized to the overall observations and recommendations.
