Summary/Abstract: The analysis of integration processes in the language of economics makes it possible to talk about mobility of semantic structures in economic terminology, which is formed not only by terminological units of economics and other sciences but also by linguistic units resulting from the borrowing process. Borrowing is a complex multi-level process conditioned by a complex of linguistic and extra-linguistic reasons. From a cognitive perspective, borrowing is interpreted as an interaction of two conceptual spaces resulting in a borrowed concept or a conceptual framework. Borrowing underlies the internal and external integration of terminological components, which leads to semantic changes in the terminology of the language of economy. The processes of internal and external integration considered in this article are defined as the processes of “joining” lexical units from one linguistic system to another. Consequently, the units of these systems interact resulting in the creation of a new image of the object and a new meaning. At the level of linguistic units the process eventuates in the creation of a new connection between the form and the content of the sign.
