Summary/Abstract: This contribution contents part of authorized interwiev with Mr Karel Vaš (*1916, +2012). He thinks back to his studies, his political work in the Communist Party, his escape from his native town Uzhgorod at the beginning of Hungarian Army occupation in 1939, imprisonment in Gulag, his entering the Czechoslovak troop in the USSR. Karel Vaš describes in his biographical story course of events in one of the first trials after the February 1948 in which he took part as a prosecuting attorney in Heliodor Píka´s case.
