Summary/Abstract: The Middle East is seen as a term that replaces and designates “the Arab world” or the Islamic world”. In an Arab vision, the Middle East or Al Sharq Al Awsat does not only include Arab states, although this is the trend. That would be the argument for trying to dissociate the Arab world from terrorism. In this regard, whenever it comes to mention, for example, terrorism in the Middle East, it should be taken into account that terrorism does not necessarily come from the Arabs since the Middle East is not entirely Arab.
