Summary/Abstract: Innovations play the key role in the modern world. The approach of management sciences to the subject of innovation is becoming more complex. Subsequent scientific theories, backed up by research findings, indicate the need to reflect on the direction of changes within companies. Marketing innovations increasingly rely on user communities gathered around the brand of a product or service, while innovations often take the form of Open Innovation model. Marketing innovations are a good example of innovative changes that relate to the product or service, as well as customers. The aim of the article is to present the changes in the approach to marketing innovations with the participation of the brand community. Theoretical considerations based on an analysis of the literature were illustrated by a case study.
