Summary/Abstract: There are different solutions to the problems of defense preparations. Individual countries fulfilling the tasks, covering a range of defensive preparations. The regulations retain the individual character, which results from the history, tradition, geopolitical situation, administrative divisions of the state. This paper presents a comparative description of the different legal forms in the defense of such countries as Germany, Finland, the UK and Sweden.
