Styles of self-education of candidates for teaching profession

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of a study on educational activities of students – candidates for the teaching profession. The study used a questionnaire “Self-study as a way of life”. As a result of data analysis seven types of educational activity were identified. In the next stage of the analysis five styles of educational activity were distinguished: 1 Passive style, 2 Multidirectional, active style, 3 School style, 4 Style focused on learning about current cultural, social, academic events and on self-upbringing, 5 Style focused on travel.
