Summary/Abstract: The Archbishop and Cathedral Library in Cologne is one of the biggest theological libraries in German language area. The library as a special theological library is obliged to maintain cultural heritage of Archdiocese of Cologne by documenting Cologne Church’s activity together with acquisition of historical and contemporary collections. The library promotes also research and theological studies and supports ministry and Church’s pastoral activity.
