Summary/Abstract: Using social network analysis in intelligence activities is a complex andcomplete problem, as an analogy with the computational complexity theory suggests.Complexity emerges as one connects a scientific approach with intelligence, and the civiland military realms, the national security strategy with a corresponding doctrine anddevelops a training program for the personnel. Solving this problem leads to one findingthe key to other complex problems, such as the development and deployment of earlywarning systems, simulation and modeling systems, human terrain systems.
