The issue of translation of fairy tales collection ring into Polish

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of translating some elements of Russian folk tales, artistically crafted by Andrei Platonov, into the collection of the Magic Ring: permanent epithets and diminutive forms. Analyzing the texts of Russian and Polish fairy tales, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that the translator managed to convey all the features of the Platonic method of processing folk texts: on the one hand, the desire to preserve the language flavor inherent in fabulous folklore, and on the other - to introduce features characteristic of the structure Literary story.
