The interest to deal with this rural religious holy days did not arise from the mere need to record and synthesize information related to its, but because we have noticed that in our home village Melenci (and also in other villages and small urban areas in the immediate and wider environment) from the time of the revitalization of village’s slava 1990s, a celebration of it is less in the service of satisfying the religious needs of the rural population, and more in a function of tourism promotion of the village in the social environment – we tried to find out what happened. Actually, text is the general part of the paper Zavetine from Rural Religious Holy Days to Manifestations of Rural Tourism: Case of Zavetine of Village Malenci In Central Banat that we wrote within the course that we mentioned.
