Summary/Abstract: The article considers the biocultural evolutional approach to dynamic and changeable relationship of biological, ecological, demographic and socio-cultural variables which affect the variations of human nourishment as well as the development of human social life. It emphasizes the cultural materialist approach pioneered by Marvin Harris, and anthropological approach to the study of human nutrition which is based on the analysis of demographic, technological, biosocial and political-economic variables which affect the production, distribution and consumption of food. It also shows the dynamic of different patterns and ways of nourishment as by-products of different factors.
