Forms and methods used in cultural-educational work at the Transylvanian History Museum

Summary/Abstract: The authors discuss their personal vision of the relationship between museum and public in contemporaneity. According to them, the attraction of the public to the museum requires a complex activity, based on scientific research. In this perspective, the necessity of certain qualities indispensable for the museologist-charterers is highlighted: profound professional and cultural knowledge, as well as a high political-ideological level and, not the last rank, natural inclination, talent And personal charm. The authors present the concrete forms and methods used in the cultural-educational activity at the Museum of Transylvanian History
