Discovering the helmet from Poiana Cofofeneşti, Prahova county. Brief history

Summary/Abstract: To remake the history of the "golden helmet of Coţofeneşti" the authors considered that the best way is to follow its path from the boral of a small river of the department of Prahova until the depots of the National Museum of History in Taking into account oral and written testimony as well as official documents. The existence and respect for the tradition of a few modest bourgeois like Ion Marinescu Moreanu of Ploieşti is often at the origin of the discovery and conservation of important cultural treasures. Remembering their gesture is a repair not only necessary but also mandatory
