Summary/Abstract: Are presented the main air bombardamente carried out by the Anglo-Americans against Romania during World War II.The strong response from Romanian aviation and antiaircraft artillery units resulted in the abatement of 286 American and 38 British aircraft as well as more than 1,100 airmen were made prisoners. They have benefited from human treatment both from the population and the authorities during their entire captivity in Romania, a fact which has far exceeded their expectations
