Summary/Abstract: This astonishing report, which could only be published after Litvinov's death and which now appeared in abridged version in the last edition of „Reader's Digest“, is considered as meaningful enough to fully inform our readers. He not only proves the insincerity of the present Soviet peace propaganda, but also shows that already in 1946 the Kremlin was no longer thinking of real cooperation with the West.
