Summary/Abstract: The Battle of Stalingrad is regarded as a turning point in the history of World War II. Alongside different military units of the 3rd and 4th Armies of Romania - including 400,000 soldiers - also participated in the training of the Romanian aviation. The heroic actions of the Romanian aviation of hunting and bombing during the Stalingrad struggles resulted in great human losses and the technique of quarrying.
