Summary/Abstract: The author proposes to present unpublished information from the Quai d'Orsay (The Collection of Microfilms of the National Archives) concerning the economic life of Romania, especially after the diktat of Bucharest (May 7, 1918). Emphasis has been placed on certain aspects of the dramatism of the daily the most important social force of the time - the peasantry - and the state of agriculture.
