Summary/Abstract: First code of ceremonial printed in Romanian was elaborated in 1876 to the order of Charles I by Theodor Văcăresco, marshal of the Princiere Court. A few years later, because of the profound transformations that took place in Romania, the independence and the proclamation of the kingdom, this code was completed by the same author. On the basis of the ancient rules and customs of the Romanian princes, the ceremonial published in 1882 proposes to agree the reports of the government and the Royal Court of Bucharest with the international etiquette. The study of this ceremonial takes us back to the atmosphere of the time at a royal European court of the end of the XIX century
