Summary/Abstract: At the end of the nineteenth century the Capşa House was led by the founder of the firm of no.36 of the Calea Victoriei - Grégoire Capşa. Having an active presence in the economic and political life of the time, Maison Capşa participated, with its products, in important events. Thus, in the Lower Danube and on the banks of the Black Mother, the Capsa House was present at the inauguration of the Charles I bridge at Cernavoda on 14/26 September 1895 and at the banquet given in honor of the engineer Anghel Saligny , On December 8, 1895, the director of the bridge. Other events in which the good quality of the products of the Capsa House were noted were the inauguration of the channel of the Portes de Fers on 14/26 September 1896, the setting of the foundation stone for the new port of Constanţa On 16/28 October 1896 and launched it in the water, on 1/13 July 1898, of the ships "Princess Marie" and "King Charles I".
