Summary/Abstract: For the beginning, the author presents the rations and motives that determined Prince Charles, especially after his marriage with Princess Elisabeth of Wied, to choose a place to build a summer residence for the reigning family. During his first visits to the country where his destiny carried him, his choice was fixed for Câmpulung Muscel. But the local authorities, from this small and cozy mountain town, did not agree with the purchase of land to build a summer residence there. The second choice, which also materialized, was Sinaia where he built the imposing Castle Peleş seen as "the cradle of the dynasty" founded by him. Beyond the end of the article, the author shows the beneficence for Sinaia from the establishment of the royal family first and royal into the area
