Summary/Abstract: A notable contribution in the long process for the configuration of a distinct artistic physiognomy was the establishment in Sibiu, in 1783, of the Neuhauser family of painters. For example, the evolution of art in Romania must at least be successful in the approaches to European culture, even though its academic training did not Allowed to take into consideration only the official examples. Artistic and technical innovations Franz Neuhauser the Younger chose lithography. This is how a new chapter in the history of the Romanian graphic has opened.
