Summary/Abstract: The aim of the presented study was to identify the components of paint and ground layers in historical paintings from the collection of the Wilanów Palace Museum in Warsaw. These paintings are attributed to the Polish painter Jerzy Siemiginowski-Eleuter. The examined samples were taken from three of Siemiginowski’s paintings: Portrait of Queen Maria Kazimiera Sobieska with her daughter Teresa Kunegunda, Portrait of Jan III Sobieski and his son Jakub and plafond Summer
