Summary/Abstract: Michel Fărcăşano (1907-1987) was a well-known personality for the Romanian exile of the era prior to that of Ceauşesco. In Romania he was a lawyer, publicist, writer and president of the National Liberal Youth (1937-1946). These articles and works such as "La Monarchie sociale" (1940), the novel "Leaves are no longer the same" (published in 1946 under the pseudonym Mihail Villara, prize of Editions La Culture Nationale) or " Letters to the Romanian youth "(banned in 1946 shortly after his appearance) announced a writer of great vocation. But his work was abruptly interrupted and condemned to oblivion as a result of his political activity. In November 1945 he was one of the main organizers of the anti-communist demonstrations in Bucharest. He was sought by the police and left the country underground with his wife, Pia Pillat (the daughter of the writer Ion Pillat) and Vintilă Brătiano with a military plane from Caransebeş, with a pilot Mathieu Ghica-Cantacuzène
