Summary/Abstract: In 1922, the Bank of the Netherlands and Paris celebrated its 50th anniversary. On this occasion the then Prime Minister of Romania received a medal for the festivities, silver piece, 71 mm. It is part of the National Bank Collection, transferred to the National History Museum of Romania from the Numismatic Cabinet of the Romanian Academy. It's an original medal. Ionel Bratianu's presence at the festivities is due to the friendship and cooperation relations with the allies and the relations with the liberal European banking and financial world - especially the Bratians (Minister of Finance was Vintila Bratianu). At the same time, the Prime Minister's presence in Paris this year was also due to issues related to the payment of Germany's wartime debt to Romania, which was prolonged and diminished, a fact unacceptable for our country, issues discussed at the Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Allied Countries and the Conference Romanian-German financial system.
