Legal Framework of The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture

Summary/Abstract: Issue of Government agencies in Poland is relatively new, therefore is not analysed indepth in the administrative law textbooks. One must take into account that government agencies are distinct type of public administration organs that could be found in other countries. This paper provides brief overview issue of notion of government agency and their classification in legal doctrine. The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture has been used as a raw model in sketching a general outline of the concept of government agency. The legal framework of constitutional and operational aspects of agencies in question as well as legal forms of discharging public service obligations are within scope of this article.
