Summary/Abstract: In the article the author depicts the most important issues regarding cost analysis of value chain. At the beginning of the article the author defines corporate and sectoral value chain. The article identifies and classifies the most important cost drivers on which cost analysis of value chain is based. The described method was used to analyze the cost of companies operating in energy industry.
