Summary/Abstract: Employees are some of the key stakeholders of the company. Thus, their needs and expectations should be taken into account in the organization’s strategy, particularly in the area of social responsibility. The purpose of this article is to present a concept for comprehensive assessment of the level of involvement of companies in CSR in the human resources area. The author stressed the important role of human resources in building company’s value, and then presented, determined on the basis of selected and her own studies, directions and the scope of the CSR activities taken in practice. The last part of the article is devoted to the presentation of the concept of the identification, measurement, and evaluation of the effectiveness and relevance of CSR initiatives in the area of human resources and their compliance with internal and external standards.
