Summary/Abstract: Having properly developed and adapted to the capabilities and needs of HEIs controlling is an element of building their competitive advantage. Having reliable and updated information, HEI is able to respond in a timely manner to changes in the external environment or inside HEI. In view of the research the author recognizes the areas in which in the coming years there should be made some changes or modifications.
