Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to analyse the ethical behavior of financial planners contained in selected codes of ethic and indicates a few problems arising in this profession. The codes of ethics show similarities, however the author points to the need for further research on the development of ethical standards as well as their implementation, application and enforcement.
