Summary/Abstract: The paper begins with an introduction on the history of corporate social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility).A brief analysis of the development of the concept and carried out based on the literature review of approaches to this concept, leads the author to the conclusion that CSR is properly understood business strategy. Later in the article the author explains how to perceive such treatment of corporate social responsibility. A key element is the proposals for the strategic implementation of CSR in Poland.
