Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is to analyze the problem of the numerical fiscal rules and their impact on financial condition of modern states. Particular stress was put on demonstrate the existence of a positive correlation between the introduction of numerical fiscal rules and the efficiency of the public finance system where they are implemented. It also revives different types of numerical fiscal rules and their future trends as a prospective tools of public finances renewal.
