Summary/Abstract: In December 2016 a joint Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade confirmed its full operational capability during the certification exercise called “Common Challenge 2016”. By doing so the unit has become the first of its kind to consist of combined military forces of the three nations, invoking the heritage of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
