Summary/Abstract: Public institutions as the main consumer can make an important contribution to promoting sustainable development, thereby supporting the economy more resource efficient, greener and more competitive. One of the sectors of the economy, which is characterized by the possibilities of improving the environment is transportation. A key role in this respect plays public procurement.
