Summary/Abstract: As in other circumstances, the author is constantly preoccupied with presenting the artistic works of the first part of the twentieth century. At that time, these cultural achievements had earned their place in the national patrimony, but several other factors led to their total or partial Ignorance and removal. Spiridon Georgescu was one of the great plastic artists who were treated this way. He is the author of many works that, throughout the years, were integrated into public forums or private collections. The study of such works has become an acute necessity in order to perform an analysis that would allow a correct evaluation of the author and his work.
