Category of quantity in new interpretation

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author presents monograph The Functional-Semantic Field of Quantity in Russian in Comparison with Czech. The monograph deals with the ways in which quantity is expressed by nominal word classes in Russian as compared with Czech. The aim of the work is to describe and analyse the basic means of expression (morphological, lexical, lexico-morphological, syntactic and phraseological) of individual types of quantity (countable, divisible, measurable) within the functional-semantic field of quantity. The monograph also focuses on the typological specificities of Russian and Czech in expressing quantitative relations.
